Intellectual Property (IP)

There are two main reasons for professional companies requesting endorsed or CPD courses.

1. Intellectual property ownership is of prime concern due to the time, effort and financial commitment

2. Control of the qualification itself, as an RQF qualification is open to anyone (with a Training Centre) who appears to be qualified, yet does not have the worldly experience required to be truly competent in the subject matter.

3. Ownership of IP – If the qualification is placed on the Regulated framework (RQF) your Awarding Organisation will own your training program as this is a requirement when placing courses on the RQF System.

Endorsed or CPD Accredited Courses.

  1. Endorsed or CPD courses allow the owner of the training to keep the IP and therefore it can not be shared with anyone else without written permission from the owner
  2. Control – Remains with the Course Owner, however, you may still have to provide pre-agreed documentation or allow inspections of the training to ensure it is fit for purpose to the accrediting organisation, this helps keep the authenticity of the training
  3. Support – Different organisations provide support on an ongoing basis others will simply leave to issue certificates, with Security CPD Global Ltd there will be ongoing support through the lifetime of your course
